Upon our return from NY, I got to do some playdates with my friend Dani. We went to their pool to swim. Here I am playing in the water.

New York City
Girls Trip ~ New York City!!
I got to go on my first girls trip. We left on a Wednesday morning and headed East. I had a lot of things to do in the car & one of them was a write on wipe off board. I created this dude and named him "Hary". Is't he cute. :o)

We got to our hotel in New Jersey on Thursday (after a night's stay in PA.) Anyway, the lady behind the desk told us that we could find lots of food options if we just took a short 5 minute walk. We took her advice & had a good dinner at Uno's. When we were finishing up with dinner, we realized that it was raining. A lot. Well, we asked for some to-go bags & used them as umbrella hats. lol Mommy carried me since I wasn't walking very fast & we treked in the rain. I giggled a lot on the way back. heeheehee Here we are upon our soggy arrival back. :O)
Each morning we waited for the bus out front of our hotel. We rode it into the city. Here I am with my doll Lulu waiting our first morning.
There are all of these tourist things around the city where you can ride an open top bus or a boat. We didn't ride, but I did get a hug from this duck. lol We also found this huge Hello Kitty statue. It was made of metal.

There is a Toys-R-Us store in Times Square. In the store there is a ferris wheel. It's huge!! Anyway, we rode it and this is a photo of mommy, Lulu & I on it.
We also took the Staten Island Ferry across so we could ride past the Statue of Liberty. It's a nice ride & it's free. I look silly with my sun grins.
Here is a photo of the girls (minus mommy/photo taker) Christy, Susie, Grammie & myself.
Here I am as we're approaching Ms. Liberty. It was a great boat ride,..... before the storm.
So when we got off of the boat, the TV said that there was a tornado warning for NYC. lol Lovely. We had to take the subway back to where we had come from anyway, so we headed underground. When we got to our destination it was POURING down rain. We had a mission to complete for the girls, so we had to press on. We looked like silly ducks trudging through the rain. Here we are taking a sheltered break while the girls exchanged something they had purchased earlier. See........ ;o)
Lucky me, Lulu & I stayed perfectly DRY here under my rain shelter. Yea!!
Day 2, we had a bit of time to pass before meeting our friends so we did a small bit of shopping. I found several pairs of shoes that I liked. What do you think of this pair??
These are nice too. I think I'm partial to the pink ones, eventhough I tried about 20 pairs on. heeheehee
We finally made it to Central Park to meet my friend Lulu. We embraced as soon as we saw eachother. :O) (my doll that you saw earlier is named after this real Lulu. We met here last year. Our mommies are friends from AZ.) :O)
Lulu brought us bubbles to play with. Look at us blow!
Here I am with Lulu in front of the Tisch Children's Zoo in Central Park. If you've never come here, you should sometime. It's fun!
Here we are being turtles.
At the children's petting zoo, you can feed the goats. They slobber. :o)
After we left the zoo, we got our faces painted. Here is Lulu painted as a princess. Isn't she beautiful. :o)
And I got the butterfly. Aren't I beautiful too!!
Here we are together. Too bad we don't live near eachother. We'd have fun!!
This is Dan & Danielle. (Lulu's mommy) We had a great time with them. THANK YOU!!! It was GREAT to see you!! :O)
This is Danielle & mommy. They used to work together in AZ. That was a long time ago, they tell me.
Here I am on the Central Park Carousel. This is by far the fastest carousel I've ever ridden. It was one thing that I couldn't wait to do when we got here & I kept talking about it on our drive out. YEA!!
After the park, we went to lunch with our friends. We didn't want to say goodbye, but we had to. We hope to see them again sometime soon.
We found Elmo in Times Square & made Christy chase him down. LOL!!! Thanks Christy.

On day 3, we went to Ground Zero and then to lunch. At lunch Grammie had me get an envelope out of her purse & open it. Here I am trying to see what it was. Grammie was sounding the words out with me.
And here I am trying to grasp what she is really telling me.
See my shirt, what's on my shirt........that's what she was giving me. Tickets to see Ariel, The Little Mermaid on Broadway!!! :o) I was SUPER EXCITED!!!!!!!!
Mommy had packed me some Ariel stuff & also got Lulu some Ariel stuff to wear. Here we are awaiting the show to start. Aren't we cute!!! :O)
Yep, we're excited. Can you tell??
Here's the big sign outside. I can't believe it!
Mommy snapped this photo at the end of the show. It was REALLY GOOD!!!

Here we are at our last dinner in the city. This is Christy & Susie. They didn't go see Ariel with us, they went to see Grease. They said it was super good too!
Again, our last dinner here. Don't worry, we took the bus after dinner, but yes those are mango margaritas. ;o)
This is my orange grin. lol
We all had a great time and I can't wait to go back. :o)

State Fair
I LOVE the State Fair!!!
I love to go and spend the whole day.
This year, in the Little Hands on the Farm exhibit, they had new tractors. Imagine my surprise to find a PINK one!! WOO HOO!!! :O) Now this is farming. ;o)

We went into a building and they had bug people there. I got to hold this huge millipede. It tickled.

Then, I held this hissing cockroach. Can you believe it?!?!

Here I am holding a baby millipede. I thought it was cute.
Grammie apparently lost her mind temporarially, because she held this terrantuala. YIKES!!!
They had this piano on the floor like in the movie BIG. I wish I didn't have to take turns with a bunch of people because I could have spent an hour on this thing!!

Ball State Alumni & Ball State's future. :O)

Daddy & I at the BSU Exhibit. It was BSU day at the fair. :O)
